My heart sings sad songs

Shards of pain piercing it,

heartbroken, but beating,

it's still alive, it makes me aware of its strength,

My heart sings heartbreak songs, 

it finds solace in singing,

the pain numbs, the song's melody soothes it,

My heart dances to melancholic tunes and melodies,

the sorrow it feels, it drinks pain in the form of poison daily,

Dealing with pain has turned it into a dealer of pain, 

Sadness is like rain to its earth now,

It isn't afraid,  it is just numb from the pain,

Fear was never the style or trend to follow,

I dance to my own tunes, as my heart accompanies me through my melancholy.
